Karibuni Lodge, Kitale, Gateway to North Western Kenya and the Jade Sea.

Choose from camping , dormitory, single room, double or twin rooms; some with private bathroom. All showers have hot water. We have mains electricity to charge electrical items such as cameras. Towels, bedlinen and blankets, toilet paper, soap and safe drinking water are provided.

Internet  We have internet access available for all our guests.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks are prepared by our qualified resident chef using local fresh farm produce. Freshly baked cakes, Kenyan coffee, teas and drinks, including wines and spirits, are available.

We cater for Western, vegetarian, vegan and other dietary requirements, in addition to providing a selection of local dishes. Experience warm, friendly service, cosy atmosphere and delicious home cooking!

There is shaded seating in our secluded garden together with hammocks. In the evenings you can sit round a log fire in the large lounge area. We have a small library, board games and a book exchange. A laundry service is available and we can arrange for the hire of bicycles and camping equipment. All meals are taken around a large communal dining table to encourage a convivial atmosphere.

In addition to private guests, we welcome groups, such as educational and research paries, who can book the Lodge on an exclusive basis.

If you want to get away from the crowded tourist circuit, see something other than the 'big 5' and the beach , come and enjoy natural Kenya at its best.
