In a peaceful setting, conveniently located just 2km from Kitale town with secure car park and campsite. We provide comfortable, affordable camping and accommodation in an area rich in unspoilt natural beauty and unexploited culture: a splendid base for hiking, field studies, exploring national parks or just relaxing.

There is a diverse range of eco-systems and vibrant, raw spectacular landscapes to explore; indigenous and montane forest, moorland, small farms, mountains, rivers, desert, caves, prolific animal and bird life, and unique flora and fauna.

We provide a cosy atmosphere with delicious home cooking. Organised excursions available - nature walks, bird watching, hiking, cultural village visits etc or you can enjoy the three acre grounds and the lovely view from our verandah.

In addition to private guests, we also welcome groups, such as educational and research groups, who can book the Lodge on an exclusive basis.

We are keen to set up a school exchange program to benefit the local community and would like to hear from anyone who is interested. With the help of our experienced travel agent, we can put together a range flight, transport and accommodation packages. Appropriate field guides and local experts are used to conduct tours or give talks.

There is a wealth of material to interest those studying geography, geology, anthropology, botany, etymology and archaeology. A wide range of excursions is available including nature walks, bird watching, hiking, cultural village visits etc.

We are easily accessible with Eldoret, Kakamega and the Ugandan border being only 1½ hours away. From Lodwar, it is approximately a 7 hour drive.
